How to find past columns
As of October 2004, all of my columns are FREE, going back to the day I joined the Times in 2000! (In the past, you had to pay $3 per article from the archives. But as part of a technology section makeover, the Times decided that my tech reviews belong with the Times's book reviews, movie reviews, and restaurant reviews as a free resource for all.)
To browse a list of columns, go to NYTimes.com/technology/. In the middle towards the top, you'll see my name along with links to my most recent columns and video.
To search the full text of all columns, go to NYTimes.com. Use the Search box at the top to fill in my name plus the product you want, like this:

(Of course, substitute the name of the product you're looking for in place of "blackberry.")
Click the search button or press Enter. The list of matching articles appears almost at once.
Please note...
All of this requires that you've registered with the NY Times Web site, which just means giving them your email address. It's free.
All of my email columns are ALSO online and free! At this point, many of them do not, however, show up in the search results (they're working on it). They DO show up if you know the date. You just have to know the formula for the column's Web address. For example, my October 7, 2004 email column would have this URL:
http://www.nytimes.com/2004/10/07/technology/07POGUE-EMAIL.html
(See how you have to put the actual day of the month in two different places?)
Hope this helps--and happy searching!
